No healthy embryos to be transferred after PGD
Hi, I’ve already done two IVF with PGD cycles… In both cycles, my embryos were unhealthy and presented genetic abnormalities. Embryo transfer was cancelled in both of them. Now my clinic says I should go for a new IVF cycle using donor eggs, but I think it is better that I give my own eggs another try… At least before giving up on them for the record. I want to have my own children, is that so complicated? Has anyone been through this? Thank you.March 2, 2016 at 9:09 am
it is your decision to make if you want to start a third IVF cycle with your own eggs or not. Anyway, my advice is that you always follow your doctor’s advice. If his/her advice is that you turn to egg donation, then it is because they consider that achieving pregnancy with your owns may be difficult, no matter how many times you try.
Even though, as I said, it is a very personal decision, my advice is that you follow your doctor’s advice and turn to egg donation.
I hope I have been able to help and your next IVF cycle (either with your own eggs or donated eggs) is successful!
