Polyhydramnios: excess of amniotic fluid

Medical control during pregnancy

4D ultrasound is the cutting-edge procedure in ultrasound scanning. It is similar to a 3D ultrasound, but shows the real-time movements of the baby.
This fluid surrounds the embryo throughout pregnancy, and its main function is to protect the foetus and to cushion the mother's movements so that they cannot be harmful for the foetus.
