The law that regulates oocyte and sperm donation, and in general fertility care, in Cyprus is the Law 69 (I)/2015. Among other aspects, it established that gamete donation should be based upon anonymity and altruism.

The Croatian Law 86/12 is the one regulating Medically Assisted Reproduction (MAR), including gamete and embryo donation. It establishes that only heterosexual couples have the right to access fertility care in Croatia.
The Law governing medically assisted reproduction in the Czech Republic allows the performance of many treatments out of the ones available nowadays, including third-party reproduction. Gamete donors must remain anonymous and act altruistically. Access to assisted conception is only granted to heterosexual couples.
Russian law allows assisted reproduction treatment with donor eggs or donor sperm. Donor can remain anonymous, in which case identifiable information is not revealed to recipients. It can also be a friend or relative of the patients in case non-anonymous donor conception is the chosen type.
