Embryo quality

The zona pellucida (membrane surrounding the cytoplasm of the embryo) is thicker than what is considered as normal.

This does not mean that the embryo has a genetic alteration, but that it will be more complicated for it to break through the zona pellucida in order to implant itself into the endometrium.
