It should be noted that, in every woman, the symptoms they may feel after an embryo transfer do not automatically translate into pregnancy. They can be caused by the fertility drugs you are taking, too. Also, having no symptoms at all does not translate into implantation failure either. Each woman is different and even without symptoms, the treatment can be as successful as in those who have plenty of symptoms.
Anyway, having any of the following symptoms is considered normal, irrespective of whether they are caused by embryo implantation or fertility medications:
- Abundant vaginal discharge
- Fatigue and exhaustion
- Nausea and vomiting
- Frequent urination
- Missed or delayed period
- Discomfort around the abdominal area and lower back pain
