The semen analysis is the basic test for the study of fertility in men. When the result of the semen analysis shows a quantity of more than 1 million leukocytes per millilitre of semen, then the diagnosis is leucospermia.
This seminal alteration will result in poorer semen quality in men, as there will be an increase in oxidative stress. In addition, sperm concentration may also be affected in these patients.
