Symptoms that may indicate to the woman that she has a disorder in the menstrual cycle and may not be ovulating are absence of menstruation, abnormal bleeding, or an irregular basal temperature.
If anovulation is suspected, a woman can have an ovulation test or a hormonal blood test to make a diagnosis and find out whether or not she is ovulating.
