Causes of obstructive azoospermia

The absence of spermatozoa in obstructive azoospermia may be due to a blockage in the vas deferens and epididymis, i.e. structures in charge of carrying spermatozoa to the urethra. In addition, inflammation or trauma to the testicles could also be reasons for obstructive azoospermia.
