Can an ectopic pregnancy go to term?

In theory, it is possible, although cases of successful births resulting from ovarian or abdominal ectopic pregnancies are extremely rare worldwide.

Despite this, extrauterine pregnancies pose a serious danger to the mother, so specialists advise terminating the pregnancy early if a miscarriage does not occur.
