Good evening, I had an ET on 3rd day and since yesterday I have been having cramps and brown stains coming out of my vagina and light blood stain like pink colour. Please I need somebody to help out if ET is failed.
10/12/2017 at 10:06 pmDear Ego kindly,
First, it is not possible to notice pregnancy symptoms one day after ET. Second, what you described does not mean that IVF has failed either. Actually, those symptoms are caused by the fertility drugs you’ve been and are taking, so my advice is that you do not worry, as they are totally normal symptoms caused by IVF medications.
Remember that you should take a pregnancy test 15 days after ET to get an accurate result.
I hope this helps,
Best

In terms of food, I just avoided the foods that NHS advice pregnant women to avoid ie caffeine, alcohol, shellfish, soft cheeses, runny eggs etc. I took a pregnacare multi-vitamin daily and 4-5 brazil nuts daily as these are supposed to aid implantation. Alternatively, if you don’t like nuts, you could have a small glass of fresh pineapple juice per day. On my 2nd cycle at BTC, I was told no hot baths in 2ww and NO sex this time. Actually I don’t think there is no right or wrong in your 2ww. If it’s going to happen it will happen no matter what you do, of course just don’t over do it like run a couple of miles, or think you’re a wonder woman -lol. Good luck to all in 2ww.
