I’ve been trying to get pregnant for 3 months and nothing

Ok so we have been TTC for about 3 months now. I started my lmp on may 1st. It lastes 5 days. Which has been normal for me for last 6 months or more. I didn’t have anything put when my ovulation day was. On the 7,8 and 12 of may we had unprotected sex. On the 15th 16th and 17th I had light spotting. AF was due the 1st of June and hasn’t showed up yet. I feel like I’m having more discharge than normal and it looks creamy white. I’ve also had intermittent nausea, gas and bloating, I’ve been urinating more than normal. But I’ve also increased my water intake lately. So that could be the cause of me peeing more. We are hoping for a bfp, but I’m worried that I’ll just get another negative test. Any advice? This is our first time and would be our first child. Fingers crossed we are blessed soon!

  2. Dear niki,

Couples are recommended to try for a baby for at least 1 year before visiting a fertility specialist. So don’t worry if you’ve been trying for 3 months so far and still haven’t got a positive test. It’s considered normal. As for the symptoms you’re describing, they could be first pregnancy symptoms, yes. But I’m afraid that we won’t be able to know until you take a pregnancy test and see the results.

I wish you all the best!
