Hello, I am 10 days post transfer and I am having some weird symptoms. I am not sure if they are pregnancy symptoms or if I am just making things up. I kind of have some brown discharge and my boobs hurt, I also have some intense cramps. Is this normal?

  2. Hi maggie25,

Symptoms during the two-week wait can be from pregnancy or from the administration of medications during fertility treatment. As long as the spotting does not turn bright red and is prolonged in time, you shouldn’t worry. Also, if the pain in the ovaries becomes too severe, it is best to consult your doctor to find out how to proceed. The symptoms you are describing can very well be from pregnancy but are also common the days before your period.

I recommend you wait until you miss your period of 14 days post transfer to take an at-home pregnancy test.

In the following article you can read more detailed information on this topic: What is a two-week wait? – Symptoms and tips after treatment.
    Good luck!

  3. Hi everyone! I am not getting a fertility treatment done but I am also 10 dpo, I have heard of people that get their positive at 10 -11 dpo but it just isn´t happening with me, I guess I´ll have to wait until I miss my period!
