The probable delivery date (EDD) is the estimated date on which the baby will be born. However, it is only an estimate and only a small percentage of babies are actually born on the estimated date.
To calculate the PDC, you should count 40 weeks from the first day of your last menstrual period, although it can also be calculated from ultrasound scans.
