This pseudohermaphroditism is linked to the sexual chromosome X. It’s a recessive mutation in the gen that codifies the receptor of androgens, which provokes an incapacity of the tissues to response to the stimuli of these hormones. The androgens are the male hormones that stimulate the apparition of the male sexual characteristics during puberty.
