Contrary to what has traditionally been said, having sex during pregnancy is not prohibited. However, the stage of pregnancy in which the woman is should be taken into account. For instance, towards the last months, it is not advisable for the woman to lay down on her back because the weight of the fetus can put pressure on some of her blood vessels.
