According to the annual statistical registry of the Spanish Fertility Society for the year 2021 (National Activity Registry 2021-SEF Registry), 4,395 conventional IVF cycles were performed in Spain. Next, as can be seen in the graph, the delivery rate for each embryo transfer in the different age ranges is indicated:
- Women under 35 years old
- 31.6%
- Women between 35-39 years old
- 27.2%
- Women over 40 years old
- 12.8%
As can be seen here, the age of the woman is an aspect of great importance for the success of IVF treatment.
