When a man who has a vasectomy regrets it and decides to have more children, two options are available to restore his fertility. On the one hand, vasectomy reversal surgery or vasvasostomy, a surgical procedure that allows us to "reconnect" the tubes that were severed by a vasectomy. On the other hand, Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART), including IVF, ICSI and other techniques that achieve parenthood again to many men who opted for male sterilization.
It is also possible to combine both options, as vasovasostomy (VV) is not 100% successful in all cases.
