Same-sex couples of women can become mothers in Spain thanks to assisted reproduction techniques since they will only need a sperm donor.
Regarding treatments, female couples can undergo artificial insemination (AI), in vitro fertilization (IVF), or Reciprocal IVF method.
This last option is still an IVF, but both are involved. One girl will be in charge of providing the eggs and the other will carry the pregnancy to term.
