I know that IVF doctors usually choose the best two embryos out of 4 or 6 embryos, and this causes multiple pregnancy sometimes. What is the chance that implanting multiple embryos would lead to multiple pregnancy?06/22/2018 at 4:00 amPublicidad
Multiple embryo transfers increase the chances of multiple pregnancy. The greater the number of embryos transferred, the higher the chances of multiple births. But transferring multiple embryos doesn’t always translate into multiple births by default, as not all the embryos transferred may be able to attach to the uterine lining. It depends highly on their quality.
I hope this helps,

Not always. Of course putting back 2 or 3 embryos increases the multiple birth occurance. But sometimes it happens one of the embies vanish, so you end up with one only. Still there might be different outcomes in different cases. Also when none of he embies makes home which happens quite often. Our last successful shot they transferred 2 5day blasts, currently waiting for the scan.06/24/2018 at 12:56 pm
