Hi, please I need a reply ASAP, because I need the money that egg donation can bring me and I need it now due to personal issues… I’m 27, but I’ve already 3 children, two of which are twins so I’ve only been through two labors fortunately. After that I decided that I have already had enough children so I did tied my tubes, but now I want to donate my eggs and I truly don’t know whether I can or not, can you give me an answer? It will be very much appreciated!!!!

    Dear daniela,

Tubal ligation stands for a process to hinder natural fertilization, therefore avoiding a natural pregnancy to occur, since the egg-sperm binding cannot take place. However, in no case it will hamper the full normal functioning of your ovaries or egg production.

This means you indeed become an egg donor despite having had your tubes tied. In this case, egg harvesting is performed by aspirating the fluid contained within the ovary and not through the tubes.

I hope I have clarified all your concerns,
