If there’s no implantation bleeding on day 11 post embryo transfer indicating that embryo implantation has occurred, does it mean treatment has been unsuccessful? My pregnancy test is due in 3 days. Which symptoms should I be feeling at this point to reassure myself?February 23, 2016 at 2:39 pm
implantation bleeding is not a must after the embryo transfer, which is to say, some women might experience it, while others don’t. This does not mean your IVF cycle has been unsuccessful, it is just that each woman develops a different reaction .
While some experience nausea, dizziness, general malaise, and other symptoms related to embryo implantation, others do not have any type of symptom or feel body changes after a longer period of time.
Thus, there is no reason to be concerned during the two-week wait (2WW) if you didn’t have implantation bleeding or spotting, or any other particular symptom. The most important thing right now, for your own peace of mind, is that continue with your normal lifestyle up until the pregnancy test due date.
I hope I have been able to help,
