ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection) is a type of IVF that is carried out using a tool known as microinjector. With the microinjector, the embryologist is able to inject the sperm cell directly into the ovum. The ultimate goal is that their nuclei fuse together, thereby resulting in a viable embryo.
