Analysis of male hormones that affect sperm production

When a man decides to visit a fertility specialist because he suspects that his sperm might be infertile, a hormone test is commonly performed to check if there is a hormonal imbalance that affects sperm production (spermatogenesis).

If the cause of infertility is hormonal, you may be treated with hormone injections (LH and FSH). Although this therapy is often successful, it may take a year or longer to bring back your fertility.
