Possible tests at 33 weeks of pregnancy

In the 33rd week of pregnancy it is possible that the third trimester check-up will be scheduled, as it is usual for this to take place between the 32nd and 36th week of pregnancy.

In addition to recording the pregnant woman's weight and blood pressure, a blood test will be carried out. Among other things, this is done to check for anaemia and to carry out coagulation tests for possible anaesthesia during labour.

A urinalysis will also be carried out to assess whether there is a urinary infection or the presence of proteins, and an ultrasound scan to assess the baby, the placenta and the volume of amniotic fluid.
