In the 33rd week of pregnancy, the baby is approximately 43 cm in size and weighs just under 2 kilos. However, it will still be growing and gaining weight until delivery.
The baby will spend much of the day asleep and will have rapid eye movement (REM) phases. This means you may even be able to dream.
In the 33rd week of pregnancy, you may notice that your baby hiccups. However, this is nothing to worry about. It simply serves as breathing training.
