At 35 weeks of gestation, the pregnant woman may have an appointment for the third-trimester check-up. During this visit, the following will be carried out:
- Ultrasound.
- Blood and urine tests.
- Weight monitoring.
- Blood pressure measurement.
- Coagulation tests.
Additionally, between weeks 35 and 37 of pregnancy, a group B streptococcus screening is performed by taking a vaginal-rectal swab.
