If the pregnant woman does not have her asthma under control, complications can arise for her and the baby. As a result of poorly controlled asthma, the mother's blood oxygen can decrease, which can also affect the baby because the amount of oxygen it receives is decreased.
On the other hand, if asthma is controlled during pregnancy, the risk of possible complications is hardly increased.
