Ovarian autotransplantation

This technique is used in women diagnosed of cancer and want to have children after the treatment.

One of the ovaries is removed. After a prudential time, if the production of ovarian hormones in the remaining ovary has not went back to normal, the removed ovary is defreezed and transplanted back.
