In Greece, in vitro fertilization can be performed either using own or donor gametes (eggs and sperm).
Greek regulations governing medically assisted reproduction establishes that donors must remain anonymous. Besides, the age limit for egg donor recipients is 50, which means women older than this age cannot undergo donor-egg IVF.
