The fetal heartbeat is the confirmation sign of pregnancy. This heartbeat is rhythmic and very fast, around 140 beats per minute.
The heartbeat of the fetus can be heard in the ultrasound of the 6-7 week of gestation, where the gestational sac will also be observed. It should be noted that the heartbeat should not be confused with abdominal noises that may occur in the mother.
