Donor sperm cryopreservation

The American Society for Reproductive Medicine recommends using frozen sperm instead of fresh sperm always to ensure it is free from infections. For this to be confirmed, the donor must undergo a medical examination at the beginning of the process and another one after 6 months. His semen sample will be qualified as viable only if both analysis are negative, therefore proving he is free from any infectious disease.
