Limits on the number of sperm donations

Although there are no limits in the number of donations set by law, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine recommends a maximum number of 25 live births per donor within a population area of 850,000 inhabitants.

Nonetheless, each sperm bank or donor agency may set its own limits.
