Once the pregnant woman has given birth, the couple has a fundamental role to play during the postpartum period. In addition to caring for the woman, the father should be involved in the care of the newborn, which will increase the bond between the two. Among the things the father can do after the birth of his baby are:
- Take over day-to-day tasks.
- Assist in caring for the baby.
- Manage visitation.
- Supporting the woman in breastfeeding.
Keeping a good communication between both and a good organization and collaboration, it will be possible to enjoy much more the maternity and paternity.
