In the 6th week of pregnancy, it is exactly one month since it was fertilized. During this first month, it has already been implanted in the uterus and has taken the form of a small bean. It is curved forward due to the growth of the cerebral vesicles and its measure is 2-4 mm.
The embryo has dark spots on the sides of the face that correspond to the eyes and primordial ears. It is also possible to see the buds that will later give rise to the arms and legs.
