Practicing sports and physical exercise during pregnancy is very important along with eating a healthy diet. Keeping the body in good physical condition will reduce discomfort during pregnancy:

- Prepares the body for the moment of childbirth
- Reduces back and lumbar pain
- Helps control weight gain
- Prevents the appearance of varicose veins or spider veins
The most recommended sports are yoga, pilates and swimming, as well as taking long walks on a daily basis.
