Can a woman have a baby without a womb?

By Zaira Salvador B.Sc., M.Sc. (embryologist).
Last Update: 06/14/2018

No, it's not possible. Embryo implantation cannot take place if there's no uterus and subsequently uterine lining to attach to. The only option for these women is to use a gestational surrogate.
