Can I do sports with mild ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS)?

Michelle Emblenton, a biochemist at inviTRA, tells us if it is possible to practice sport after having suffered an OHSS:

? No. If you are experiencing OHSS, even in a mild form, sports are not recommended. You should be resting. Indeed, any sports or physical activity can be problematic because, in this syndrome, the ovaries themselves are actually enlarged and more risk of being twisted of undergoing ovarian torsion where they become twisted and placed out of position within the body. It's best to rest in this case.
