Omifin is a hormonal drug containing clomiphene citrate and is used especially in women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) to induce ovulation.
In addition, Omifin also causes follicular maturation in the ovary. Therefore, when Omifin is administered, it is important that the patient undergoes ultrasound examinations to assess follicular growth and to establish the appropriate dose of Omifin to avoid multiple gestation.
