What foods should I include in my diet to get pregnant?

Being overweight can cause infertility on top of increasing the risk of miscarriage and diseases during pregnancy such as diabetes or hypertension. In general, it is not necessary to eat a low-calorie diet, but what is important is the type of food. It is not a question of going hungry, rather, it is necessary to eat well but always with healthy products.

It is recommended to consume, above all and daily, products with an antioxidant effect such as fruits and vegetables. It is important to include fish at least a couple of times a week and other products such as legumes, dairy products, and protein sources.

Meat is important and ideally white meat is the source. You can eat red meat once a week.

Try to avoid ultra-processed foods high in saturated fats and sugars such as industrial pastries and fast food. Also, the fewer alcoholic drinks, the better.
