Egg donors must be 35 or younger and enjoy good health, both physically and mentally.
Candidates must be previously screened in order to find out whether she is prepared to become an egg donor.
In cases of surrogacy, the egg donor cannot be the same woman whom bears the pregnancy to term, which is to say, surrogate and donor will be a different person.
