Medical abortion with Misoprostol

Last June 16th I took misoprostol to terminate an unplanned pregnancy. The bleeding was heavy and it lasted 24 hours. After that I had brown spotting until June 27th. Thought I was clear with the pregnancy and I did a pregnancy test yesterday July 01st and it turned out to be positive still. I do not feel pregnant at all and this is what confused me. Please help. I am in a country where abortion is illegal.

After a medical abortion, it takes some time for the body to recover normality, including hCG levels. It depends on each woman’s organism, so my advice is that you are patient: if you took Misoprostol, it is very unlikely that you are still pregnant. hCG levels will turn to zero eventually.
