It is common for a pregnant woman to wonder about how many kilos she should gain during pregnancy. However, the recommended weight gain will depend on the pre-pregnancy body mass index (BMI).
If the woman was at an appropriate weight before pregnancy (BMI 18.5-24.9), she should gain between 11.5 and 16 kilos.
