More and more specialists in the field of assisted reproduction are recommending the transfer of a single embryo to avoid both multiple pregnancy and the possible risks associated with it.
However, there are patients who are of the opposite opinion and do not agree with the transfer of a single embryo. This is usually related to a preference for having twins in the same reproductive treatment and thus not having to go through another beta wait.
