Vitamin E supplementation (sometimes together with other supplements) has been studied in pregnancy in relation to preventing complications such as preeclampsia.
On the other hand, low levels of vitamin E have been associated with low birth weight and miscarriage.
However, the results of these studies are contradictory. For this reason, there is no robust scientific evidence about vitamin E supplementation to prevent certain pregnancy complications.
