The general recommendation is to go to a fertility clinic if the couple has not achieved pregnancy after a year of frequent sexual intercourse without contraceptive protection.
However, due to the fact that age especially affects a woman's fertility, the recommendation is to wait only 6 months if the woman is over 35 years of age.
