In the second half of pregnancy, it will be important for the woman to be alert to the appearance of possible symptoms of preeclampsia. These include the following:
- Sudden weight gain.
- Swelling of the hands and face.
- Headache.
- Changes in vision.
- Nausea and vomiting.
- Decreased urine production.
- Pain in the upper abdomen.
Thus, the pregnant woman should consult with the gynecologist in case of any of these symptoms. However, the specialist will control the pregnant woman's blood pressure and weight in the different pregnancy controls.
