EUREKA FERTILITY, a company dedicated to online marketing and technical solutions in the assisted reproduction sector, has decided to implement an Information Security Management System based on the ISO 27001 standard with the objective of preserving the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information and protecting it from a wide group of threats. This Management System is designed to ensure the continuity of business lines, minimize damage, maximize return on investment and business opportunities, and continuous improvement.
The Management of EUREKA FERTILITY is aware that information is a highly valuable asset for the Organization and therefore requires adequate protection.
The Management of EUREKA FERTILITY establishes the following as basic objectives, starting point, and support for the objectives and principles of information security:
- The protection of personal data and people's privacy
- The safeguarding of the organization's records
- The protection of intellectual property rights
- The documentation of the information security policy
- The assignment of security responsibilities
- Education and training for information security
- The recording of security incidents
- Business continuity management
- The management of changes that may occur in EUREKA FERTILITY related to security
The Management of EUREKA FERTILITY, through the development and implementation of this Information Security Management System, makes the following commitments:
- Develop products and services in compliance with legislative requirements, identifying for this purpose the legislation applicable to the business lines developed by the organization and included in the scope of the Information Security Management System.
- Establish and meet contractual requirements with interested parties.
- Define security training requirements and provide the necessary training in this area to interested parties by establishing training plans.
- Prevent and detect viruses and other malicious software, through the development of specific policies and the establishment of contractual agreements with specialized organizations.
- Manage business continuity by developing continuity plans in accordance with internationally recognized methodologies.
- Establish the consequences of security policy violations, which will be reflected in the contracts signed with interested parties, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Act at all times within the strictest professional ethics.
This Policy provides the framework for the continuous improvement of the Information Security Management System and for establishing and reviewing the objectives of the Information Security Management System. It is communicated to the entire Organization through the document manager installed in the organization and its publication on information boards, being reviewed annually for its adequacy and extraordinarily when special situations and/or substantial changes in the Information Security Management System occur, being available to the general public.
Scope
The requirements upon which compliance with the ISO/IEC 27001 Information Security Management standard will be met are applicable to all our online reproduction marketing and assisted consulting services for clinics according to the current Statement of Applicability document.
Understanding that EUREKA FERTILITY is not an isolated entity, but rather we consider its environment, assimilating and understanding the context in which we operate, its internal and external interested parties, as well as the results of its risk assessment, its service, legislative or regulatory requirements as well as any other, has in its purposes to satisfy all their expectations, providing services aligned with information security.
