The baby at 36 weeks gestation is approximately 46-47 centimetres long and weighs around 2700 grams. Due to the size it has already reached, there is less and less space left in the uterus, which will limit the baby's movements inside the womb. However, the baby continues to move until the end of the pregnancy.
In the 36th week, the baby continues to accumulate fat. This means that the baby's skin is now pinker and smoother. It is also losing its lanugo, the fine hair that used to cover its skin.
