In the 38th week of pregnancy, the woman will feel tired and exhausted, due to the volume of the belly and the difficulties in sleeping that are more evident in this final stretch of pregnancy.
On the other hand, if the baby's head is in the pregnant woman's pelvis, the belly will feel lower. This will cause the woman to have increased pressure in the pelvis and frequent urination.
In addition, the pregnant woman may also notice in the 38th week:
- Swelling, especially in the ankles, legs and feet.
- Colostrum discharge.
- Braxton Hicks contractions.
Therefore, it will be important to know how to differentiate and identify Braxton Hicks contractions, so as not to confuse them with labor contractions.
