The O`Sullivan test or sugar test is a typical pregnancy test to evaluate glucose levels and determine whether the pregnant woman suffers from gestational diabetes or not.
When the O`Sullivan test result is less than 140 mg/dl it means that the woman is fine and has no problem. On the other hand, if blood sugar levels exceed 200 mg/dL, it would correspond to gestational diabetes.
However, if the O`Sullivan level is between 140 and 200 mg/dL, then it would be best to perform another oral glucose tolerance test to confirm the result.
